19 on the Greenway

3619 & 3681 Arbutus Street—developed by PCI and designed by Project Architect BHA— consists of two 6-storey (North and South) residential buildings, with a single-level of underground parking connecting the two building. Each building has a residential lobby accessible from Arbutus street, with street-level homes on wrapping all sides, and the parkade vehicle entrance accessible at west side via the lane. The two buildings share a central outdoor courtyard and two amenity rooms (Lounge in the south building and Gym in the north building).

The overall objective is to design and develop a wayfinding strategy to comprehensively plan, design, and specify the wayfinding and sign program for 3619 & 3681 Arbutus Street navigational needs of residents and visitors needs, ensuring ease of circulation to the various destinations on site, including ease of access to adjacent public transit and other City amenities. The signage and wayfinding devices will also be inspired by local and international best practices and applicable precedents.

In collaboration with PCI Developments & Experience Design Group Inc., Cenelia led the design development and specifications for the Exterior Wayfinding & Sign Program, and played a central role in the concept design, development, and technical detailing of the Exterios Wayfinding and Signage Program. Her work focused on integrating the signage seamlessly into the architectural language of the development, complementing its clean, modern urban style.
