Royal Centre
The Royal Centre, located at 1055 West Georgia Street in downtown Vancouver, is a 37-storey office tower positioned between Burrard and Thurlow Streets in the city’s central business district. Surrounded by office buildings, retail, and cultural landmarks, the building features a mid-block plaza that serves as a public gathering space and entry point for office tenants and visitors. Though simple with planters and trees, the plaza enhances the pedestrian experience in a busy area. An ongoing renovation seeks to revitalize the plaza and improve the user experience while preserving the building's architectural identity within the downtown landscape.
In collaboration with Royal Centre (KREC) Inc. & Experience Design Group Inc., Cenelia led the design development and specifications for the ExteriorSign Program for the new re-development. Her work focused on integrating the signage seamlessly into the architectural language of the development, complementing its clean, modern urban style.
